How much a taxi from the airport in Toronto at Spadina, Castle Gate, how much does it cost? Father daughter accompanying at the university, traveling for the first time in Canada
It depends on what time of day because of traffic of the city.
It's probably about $ 40
I'll give you a price list for Aerofleet because they are the taxi company that has roughly the airport market horns (you'll see their cars lined up there as soon as you exit the terminal.) In all cases , $ 40 dollars sounds like a fairly good estimate, give or take a couple of dollars ... Oh and of course do not forget to tip.
EDIT: Time of day has no real impact on the price that these companies have a package depending on geographical location. And there are no meters in taxis to the airline so that even if traffic is bad, you will not pay extra.

There are set prices depending on time of day and day of the week. If you call and give them the information they can tell you the exact cost. $ 40 is a very good idea though. Of course, the tip is included.
You can get a fixed rate ... I expect it would be $ 50 or more.
Cars take a maximum of 4 passengers. Vans take longer (maybe 6).
A limousine from the airport is not very expensive (almost the same price in many cases like a taxi) and most often a good option. It is very easy to get a limousine or a taxi to the airport.
If the driver turns off the meter, make sure you agree on a price in advance ... you can agree on a price, but they also have a guidline on what you charge.
That said, I never felt cheated or ripped off in a taxi or limousine service in Toronto.
Good luck. I hope she enjoys Toronto. If you get a chance ... Take a trip to Toronto Island (the ferry is at the base of Bay Street) ... or have dinner in Little Italy, Baldwin Street, Chinatown, etc.
I say Apx Can $ 50-55, and 4 passengers are allowed in the cabin
