What pickups shal I get? ok I have a Fender Stratocaster Mexican stock with microphones and its ok but its just dosent like my stile (Hendrix / srv) and that I would get either a vintage or vintage tonerider Seymor Duncan shifted? I can only give up 100 pounds and want a nice lead tone, clear, but to make songs like the pride and joy needs to be srv bluesey / rock. What should I do?
No offense, there is a small problem with this question ... Hendrix and SRV have some stylistic differences rather hard. Leave it be, I saw everything from tubes to cool hot rails used effectively in both styles. SRV just before his death had a top tube equipped cool and he says he really liked the sound. However, all its equipment pick-up to an amplifier has been pretty well customized. Sry about the history lesson but I think what I say, is to find the sound you like ... Money is the brother of means and good sound is not always bought.
What does this mean please.
EMG 81/85
Believe me, I've tried a few and pick-up to play rock / blues type of things, they are amazing.

Have you not a style of yours?
Fender MIM Strats are great. Clapton has one and says it is his favorite. The pickups are fine. Try checking a few amps before changing pickups. Some "hot" pickups are slightly injured, a few cents worth of extra copper. The magnets make the difference. Alnico magnets V are something to look, but do his homework. Fender Custom Shop sells "vintage pick ups" which are very good.
I saw Jimi in 1969 and he played a stock boot. That night he was 5 or 6 Fender amp, a wah-wah pedal and a (Octavio?) And he launched ***. Remember that this is not the guitar player is
