Smart Car MpgHow mpg there a smart car get?

How much are they and are they safe and how many people do they seat?

Not much highway, 32mpg city and 40mpg.
1.0L 3-cylinder engine with 71HP.
0-60mph in 15.5 seconds.
2 seats, no room in the trunk.
Safe-4 / 5 stars.

They cost $ 11.500, without options. No power windows or A / C.

With all the options, they cost $ 17,500.

The car you are talking about is called the Smart Fortwo, which is the only model sold in America Smart.
Europe has the 4-seater Smart Forfour and Smart Roadster.

Smart is a company owned by Mercedes. Mercedes makes reliable cars that are expensive to maintain and repair and the use of premium gas.

The smart fortwo is also unreliable, expensive to maintain and use the premium gas. It is also the slowest car in America.

This car is also 10 years. The Smart Fortwo was released in 1998 in Europe. And he finally surrendered to the United States 10 years later. It is an old concept. People were torn to pay more than $ 11,500 for a model of 10 years.

Smart cars start at around $ 13,000 and up, 2 seats.

Here are the numbers of EPA fuel economy of the Smart Car: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/2008selem ...

Personally I think this car is targeted at individuals (without children) is designed for environments city for the case where a small car is easier to slip into tight parking spaces. These are the only situations where I think the car has a purpose.

Hope this helps.

Amended to add: Fleckenstein: You do not know why you find it necessary to attack someone for any link to information. These figures are from the EPA, not mine. I do not endorse the report.

do not listen to his bull joeshmo and EPA.

I read Car and Driver magazine, and they did a road test for the intelligent car. With real-world driving mileage he has shit. He did not use that much gas, but it has the mileage of a car much higher. Would not you expect a small car to get about 50-60 mpg? (It only seats two and has no cargo space) Not even close, he got 33-41 mpg, even as a citizen / Carolla / Yaris / ECT discussion, an economy car.

They start at about $ 12-13 Grand, which is a scam in my opinion. You could get a brand new Chevrolet Aveo for $ 9,999, sleeps 5. I think they might be a kind of safe, but this is no longer an economy car average.

See no reason to buy one? I do not think so. What's worse, they look like sh! T and slow and they can switch if I really think this is one of the worst cars you could buy. I hope it helped.
