Scion HybridToyota to launch "Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience" Tour

In the news: Toyota Motors Sales USA, Inc. recently announced it will launch a national tour with a theme "Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience" which aims to provide customers the opportunity to experience the personal automotive hybrid technology.

The tour has already started on January 11 this year at San Jose International Auto Show and continue to travel more than 150 events across the country for the next 18 months. Consumers should have the opportunity to test Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive system and also be educated about hybrid technology through interactive exhibits on various education and road tests.
According to Celeste Migliore, Toyota's national director of technology vehicles, "Most people have heard of hybrid technology and probably have a vague idea of how it works, but few have actually driven a hybrid and / or taken a close look operation. This tour allows consumers to learn more about the technology behind this system and the benefits of hybrid vehicles. "
Toyota, maker of quality external pulling Toyota will also offer participants the opportunity to test some of their hybrid vehicles like the Prius, Camry Hybrid and Highlander. Apart from testing of players, there will also be distinct interactive learning areas in the exhibition like this:

* "Alternative Fuels: Fuelling the Future," identifies the differences in various types of alternative fuels and how they are produced.
* "Environment and Resources: Small steps, big difference," shows what people can do to make a difference to the environment.
* "The Prius Driving Experience" simulates the current Hybrid Synergy Drive technology allowing visitors to interact with the system while on-screen instructions offer driving tips.
* "Hybrid technology: not all hybrids are created equal" exhibit gives visitors a better understanding of the various hybrid technology options on the market and how hybrids benefit the consumer and the environment.

The visit will not only education but also beneficial to the environment since Toyota will plant over 50,000 trees in honor of those who will join the tour and also as part of the National Arbor Day Foundation. Trees also help offset the carbon footprint of transporting lorries from the tour as he toured the country.
