Designed for the Swiss pilot Claude Haldi, who raced at Le Mans several times with many different racing Porsche, Porsche 934 and Porsche up to 935 by the Italian genius, engineer and racing driver Gabriele
Gottifredi in cooperation with the Formula 1 specialist Alfa Romeo has built the Niki Lauda Alfa Formula 1 racing car GKW was supposed to run at Le Mans and 1988 Fuji circuit of Monza, where he performed several tests, but did not participate because he was under completion at the deadline. After that, sponsors retired due to lack of money and the project was stopped.

The car was in the workshop GKW for over 10 years before an Italian gentleman player bought all the spare parts package. The new owner has ordered a complete dismantling and parts to renew a shop very specialized: GKW the race car has been completely re-worked, excluding engines. The workshop was attended work 24 hours of Le Mans with C2 Group one year ago and today is specialized Challenger Ferrari racing cars, Sport Prototypes, Formula 3000 and so on.

The remodeling work took nearly nearly 3 years and now everything is new, or better than new, for example, some suspension components have been redesigned to make them stronger and feet and the pedal before protection has been reconstructed higher (the scope was not to win the world championship!).

The new owner decided not to use air-cooled Porsche 956 engine because of his unprofessional conduct and ordered Rennsport (one of two leading experts in the Racing Porches in Italy, near Modena) a turbo on a thin 3.2-based configuration of the injected air cooled and electronic IMSA, making beds.

This engine was developed, tested and mapped electronically Rehinold Schmirler - RS Tuning in Germany, one of the best 3 Porsche Racing driver in Germany who worked on such winner Uwe Alzen Porsche 997 GT3, and others. As a result of this engine is excellent, over 750 HP, but the owner decided to limit to 675 bhp at 7000 rpm, with a wonderful couple and energy distribution.

Original Porsche 956 Turbo KKK used with inconel headers, made in Maranello by specialists who work for Ferrari F1). All crash tests have been made and the car is now ready to race and win, with its actual weight of about 740 kg and its 675 bhp engine.

The original Porsche 956 engine can be purchased separately as a spare.

The car is eligible for group C 2 in Europe and America GTP Racing.
