Hello! What is the best bike rack a Mini Cooper S? I have two bikes. bike carrier that is best for the Mini, the roof or trunk mounted rack? Is it a trunk mounted rack damage car paint?
I wear truck, they have never damaged my painting but I do not like. A roof rack would work great on a mini because the roof is so low that it would be easy on and off. But you usually leave the carrier while you can quickly remove the trunk door. Also, roof racks are much more expensive.

MR is correct, a roof rack is an excellent work on Cooper. The only question is whether you can find a vendor who mkaews a roof rack for your Cooper. Jump to RackAttack.com and follow the instructions. He can tell you where there is a store near you and what brand suits your Cooper.
Roof is the way forward, albeit more expensive. I know two guys with Minis. We had a roof rack, the other had a criminal trunk .... Now they both crossbars. I'm not positive, but I think they are Yakima racks (they have the same rack).
Trunk mounting door can wear paint sometimes ..... I have another friend with a Honda Element that has a spot of bare metal, which he used a trunk rack on it for a trip to Colorado. It depends on the car and the grid .... the safe door I used in the past has left no marks at all, but they were on the standard sedans.
Get the Minifin established, it's great, and you can do much with it.
Do not touch the paint, and you can also use the initial setup to tow small trailers, a spare tire carrier, etc.
