Would it make a difference if I used passenger tires and tires on my Tacoma truck? The ones I want to buy are the same size as my tires today. The difference is that the current ones are light truck tires and tires I want to buy are classified as passenger tires.
Yes, it makes a huge difference. This is a safety issue. The tires are rated as passenger / light trucks, etc. for the amount of weight they can handle.
Unless you plan to mud around or climb the mountains, climbing passenger tires good on it. You get better mileage and a best lap.
It depends on how you use the truck. Passenger tires have fewer wrinkles in the side, which means they have a score less than the load LT (light truck) tires. So, if you carry heavy loads towing, I would not recommend passenger vehicle tires. Another difference is the maximum pressure (psi) tire can withstand P tires are usually around 50 max, but the LT tires can run up to 80 +. I recommend using the tires located onnyour plate of the vehicle (driver / passenger door jamb) to use the factory specified tire, unless you increase the size.
If there was no difference, they would not make two types of tires.
I own a store, and he will make a difference where you might want to move something in him, and he can make a difference in how it handles truck tire has a thicker wall on that side which makes it more stable and give him a ride safer, standard tires could be authorized to conduct perfectly normal, but at least try to make as much of a tire that you can get for him, good luck hope this helps.
