Are you ready for Hyundai to make stock car racing? The Hyundai Genesis has recently published is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 and transmission to the rear wheels. Sounds like a NASCAR entry infallible. Hyundai Come on, show us what you have!
When Hyundai built an engine that is even closer to NASCAR needs to let me know.
They are not going to join NASCAR.
As an American and a NASCAR fan, my answer is NO "****! "
As a realist and as passionate about racing, I say: "If you build it, put it on over!"
Having foreign competitors participating in the quintessential American sports car of NASCAR is a tough pill to swallow, but it is also a great kick in the ass of American companies that left the Americans down. Believe me, the Big Three could have avoided all this, but they rested on their laurels and maintain the status quo-cons-productive. You reap what you sow. Maybe it will be a wake up call to leaders of Detroit and they will finally develop a business model that is in harmony with the 21st century.
I think V8 is where the similarities end.
A NASCAR engine is 5.6 liters and 750 horsepower creates. I really do not think a Hyundai can do it. Well, I'm not saying they could not build an engine like that. But its very unlikely.
they should start in the Truck Series before they even think Sprint Cup
If any other manufacturer NASCAR abroad come now or anytime soon it would be Honda (with their rivalry with Toyota). Maybe Nissan will follow as well. But if ever it is I see it happen by 2011, if not, perhaps ever.
Hyundai would not even be able to qualify for the race leader
Sounds good to me.
Since NASCAR is a model racing series, with CoT everyone uses the same model, so I think that any new entry is a good thing.
Bring on Hyundai, BMW, Honda, Mercedes-Benz ... Heck, even inventing brands if the Big Three fail.
Boogity Boogity-keep the Racin '
Hyundai are not manufactured in the United States, it may take some time for them to be able to compete in NASCAR.
To correct Chickens rose 88 it is actually a 358ci V8 with a carburetor 830cfm that HP 800-850.
NASCAR uses only the chassis. You do not really think Toyota Camry uses real you?
No, they will not because firstly, we will not allow it. Second, they can not afford it. In addition, Genesis is still too low to qualify
why not let them race Dodge.
