MIL LIGHT on 2001 Hyundai Tiburon SE * Please answer if you do will be * ignorant? We just bought a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon and we went to Calgary, Alberta, Canada Edmonton, Alberta, Canada this weekend, it is about 350 km driving distance of four hours. We stopped in Red Deer for a bite and turned the car off a little time. When we started the MIL light on and was stable * * does not flash so I called the mechanic and asked if I could drive the rest of the way he said yes and we do before we called it starting back in Edmonton and drove all the way back without any problem and he went straight to the shop to see what was wrong.
Has anyone had this problem with their Tibby and if so, what was the cause?
I have no Tibby, but millet is usually related emissions, then most of the time you do notice any major performance problems, and that is why it is allowed to keep driving it.
It could be many things well, so it is best to just have your mechanic check It Out. It seems that you went to the shop already, then you're just waiting to find out?
Good plan! Did you take it to the dealer? I do not know all the details, but the parties emissions are covered by the law rather than the ordinary vehicle warranty. Flag
My friend told me it was an oxygen sensor, that's
The best you can do is take it to the dealer, they are the only scanner with the correct computer for your vehicle, other stores can tell you there are Snap-On scanner is just as good, but not trust me
It is a good site to ask your question. He is certified mechanics Hyundai meet these? East for you. Good luck!
