The Young Arab Leaders (YAL) and opulent carmaker DaimlerChrysler (DC) announced recently the 10 participating students from various Arab countries in the Arab European Internship Exchange and of 20 young professionals in programs the best talent.

Initiated by YAL and DC, three to six months internship program in-house meet 10 students selected in the Arab world to Germany. This will be conducted so they can experience practical work and manage the heterogeneity in the Arabian and European companies.

The 10 selected students, who are called "trainees" will be given a thorough knowledge of sales, marketing, finance and controlling, IT, purchasing, logistics and quality assurance.

The President of the Young Leaders Arab Saeed Al Muntafiq said that the Arab European Internship Exchange Program provides opportunities for Arab students to experience and see how large organizations operate in the international (market).

Meanwhile, the Top Talent program will consist of several key areas, including crop management, market research, international trade and production management of industrial value chain. It has two modules. The first will take place in Stuttgart in Germany and will be followed by six months of virtual team cooperation between Germany and Arab young professionals. And the second module will take place in January 2008 at the American University of Dubai.

Saeed Al Muntafiq said that young professionals who understand how to manage heterogeneity in different contexts and to stimulate reliable networks through intensive work on common tasks. And it is because of the intensive networking between future junior managers from Arab countries and Europe.

A member of the board of DaimlerChrysler, Ruediger Grube said that the support of their business with YAL shows that DaimlerChrysler is dedicated to guide the development of the young generation in the Arab region. He added that the exchange program participants and Top Talent Camp are stepping stones for the business sector for global business challenges in the European scenario and Arab, to further strengthen relations between Arab and European worlds.

About the Exchange Arab European Internship
Started by Young Arab Leaders (YAL) and DaimlerChrysler (DC), the Arab European Internship Exchange is an initiative by Young Arab Leaders (YAL) and put in place to promote good relations between Arab students and managers of multinational companies based Europe. It focuses on the exchange of knowledge in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership development and education.

The YAL DC and believes that students can benefit greatly from networking to help shape the future of their national economy
by intensification of relations between future junior managers from the Arab region and experienced European managers.
