Future Hybrids

im asking because when I'm 16 My dad will get me a bug convertible ..... we made an agreement about it .... I like hybrids, so do eat because the gas and since, like GMC and Chevrolet and Toyota are coming up with hybrids, I would really like if all hybrid vehicles became Volkswagen and I was wondering with the how things are going to do about the rest of the car will become hybrid lines? or only the popular cars?
