There is conflicting information available online. Most assume its 90/10 then they are people who maintain the 60/40 until slippage occurs, the system will change to 50/50.

The exact figure depends on the type of transmission that the transmission over the two different distribution. Generally, the manual gives you a 50/50 split all the time where you want to automatically get a fraction of 90/10 as soon as possible. In practice, there is no difference between the systems. In extreme conditions, the manual system is better until you move.
