Electric Car Design

Electric Car DesignI want to design an electric car that runs on the battery can any body help me?

They have already invented ... So why do you want to reinvent the wheel.?

The electric motor is not a problem. Find a suitable product for your car should be easy. Electric motors have the greatest machines in the world and the smallest.

The trick is in the batteries and how the car uses its kinetic energy. Batteries should be strong and lightweight. They must be able to be reloaded each time and not only when they are empty. In this way, the car can "refuel" every time you park and it will always be "full". These batteries, such as cellular phones, are very expensive because of high costs of metals. They need to have a very long life. A car that needs to get its batteries changed every year will not work economically.

Solar cells integrated into the roof can keep the batteries with a few extra watts on a sunny day.

There should be two braking systems. A rapid and conventional emergency braking (where the cars kinetic energy is completely lost) and magnetic system to just slow down, for example, traffic in town or driving on a hill. The magnetic brake converts kinetic energy of cars back into electrical energy that is fed back into the batteries. So you get some energy going down a hill you will have spent up to him. Of course, all this must be controlled and managed by a computer so that should be part of the design.

There are electronic books (ebooks) for that, too, which cover a multitude of potential problems for manufacturers electric vehicle enthusiast.

TIPS KEY - buy, build, drive a car or truck ECLECTIC

The electric car is 80% Dead!
Want one of 20% of VE that work?

Are you interested in buying or building (conversion) of an electric vehicle, motorcycle or truck? Or do you just buy an electric vehicle and converted still wondering how to drive it the right way? This ad has what you need!

If you did a little surfing on the Internet, you have probably encountered these key questions:

- Clutch or clutch-less EV? Is there a solution for the clutch shudder "that turns out new drivers EV?

- Gel, AGM, or replacement batteries wet? Why EV gels need systems 200V-300V?

- Why Zivan battery charger owners complain "cooked" or "fries" batteries despite the use of timers stop?

- Why owners controller Curtis apparently unexplained failures, sometimes spectacular in the "fireworks"?

- If the EV has a clutch, should I use, or not?

- The controller is rated for 550 amps. How do I over-it amp amp, and for how many minutes? (Replacement cost could be $ 1,500 plus the cost of labor.)

- My newly purchased EV has a manual transmission. What is the risk of blowing up the controller when I step on the accelerator pedal, a stop on a steep slope up? Is there a solution for the more-amplification, when the battery is low?

- How can I get more than 50% driving distance?

- What is the real cost of an electric vehicle? (She is 4 cents per mile or 90 cents per mile? Both may be true!)

- You just bought an electric vehicle. How can I drive an electric car for 600 miles without having to pay for towing expensive?

engine - permanent or magnet?
