BMW 3-Series M3 for a first car? Well I recently got my permit, and also a small number of large spared, then with the help of my parents, I am looking to buy an E46 BMW M3 or a newer E90-E93 BMW 3-Series. The two cars I watch are:
- A used car 2002 BMW M3 Coupe
or
- A used car 2007 BMW 328i sedan
Both are under $ 20k, and both seem to be in very good condition (from what I saw). Please do not say "you're too young for an M3 and you do not need all that power" because, even though it was mainly my car, he will also occasionally used by my father, and two of us are car enthusiasts (most often). I like the two cars, mainly the power and performance M3 and the air, and new features 3-Series and the fact that it is the most recent.
In addition, the concern is not a very large fuel consumption, unless it is absolutely terrible, and although the four doors can be more convenient, I often 1 or 2 more passengers in a car and do not plan to do a lot of races with the car, thats not a big concern either.
I know from friends and family that the new 3-Series cars are reliable and have also performed well, if what I really want to know is if the M3 requires no maintenance or excessive care (such as a Ferrari or Lamborghini), or if it can be used (such as 328i) for driving around town all day, as I plan to do, or is it strictly a track / car on Sunday. Thank you pour votre aide.
You should also consider that this car can be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net
I avoid BMW. They are extremely expensive to maintain, maintain and repair. Call the service and parts departments. You'll be surprised.
A car is 8 years old and three others, they are not even comparable! I do not understand this?
Why not buy a new or nearly new Honda or Toyota for your $ 20K? lower insurance car, better gas mileage, more reliable, less expensive service, high resale value.
