Compressed Natural Gas ConversionCNG - compressed natural gas

CNG, standing for compressed natural gas, is an alternative fuel for diesel relics of propane or gasoline. Even if the flue gas greenhouse CNG factory, he noted an ecological substitute fuels unsoiled. CNG is safer compared to other types of fuel when it spills. It disperses quickly when released and is lighter than air. CNG is made by condensing natural gas largely composed of methane, less than 1% of the capacity of the normal pressure of the environment. CNG is made and packed in durable containers with a normal pressure of 2900-3200 psi, generally circular or cylindrical shapes. It is used in gasoline vehicles set up internal combustion engine that has transformed the bi-fuel cars.

Natural gas cars are gradually used in South America and Europe because of the price of gasoline continues to rise. Due to environmental concerns and high fuel prices, it is also used in trucks, medium duty trucks for delivery, cars and trains and school buses. CNG is mainly composed of methane, about 95% of the NMC built in California. The remaining 5% is composed of different gases which include trace amounts of water vapor. The remaining gases are propane, butane, ethane and other types of trace gases.

Methane comes under the group of hydrocarbons, which means the molecules have atoms of carbon and hydrogen. Its molecular structure makes plain its "almost complete" combustion. For someone to accumulate good amount of fuel, CNG must be condensed to about 200 times the pressure of the atmosphere. It's always the pressure to be placed on a mile and a quarter under the ocean. It requires that the compressors are extraordinary "tapped into" the pipeline.

Brazil and Argentina are the countries with the largest fleets of cars that are powered by CNG, with a fleet of US-sum appropriate three million cars by 2008. The conversion of fuel in Brazil has been facilitated by a considerable price difference with the class of liquid fuels. A Blue-network "of stations for CNG is being developed on the most important roads in the southern cone to allow for moving long-haul fuel. In America, the federal tax credits are obtained for the purchase of new CNG cars.

Use of CNG varies from city to city. In California, it is widely used in fleets of county and local town. Public transport also uses compressed natural gas, there are four common refueling stations in the southern part of California only. Even if the prices of other types of fuel rising, CNG has managed to remain permanently at 30% to 60% off in most places in California. In Utah, the network subsidized CNG stations in the refill is 0.85/gge. In other parts of the country, the prices of CNG are on a standard rate of $ 2.50 per BSE. In addition to auctions using government cars and conversions of the market, the only car endorsed by the NMC in America is the Honda Civic GX sedan, which is not readily available.
