In addition to Chrysler and BMW, who else will match the cash to repay clunkers? I have an old truck and I'm sharing the cons as possible, any advice?
Chrysler is a bunch of dirtballs. They have skyrocketed their prices so they can offer in return. Ex: PT Cruiser $ 9,000 have been a few weeks ago, now they cost $ 18,000. Just dirty. Many Delaere increased prices, but they were the main slimeballs about it.
I recommend emailing a group of dealers and request quotes. See who you give the best price before you leave home and go from there. It worked really well for me. (It helped me find the best price on a Honda Fit, without listening to all the bullcrap sales pitch on the phone.I $ 11.5 million.)
Also, surfing MRF websites to see what kind of offers they could be funding the bid, or cash rebates, etc. Remember that you can save $ this way too. (Such as Toyota had ex. Financing of 3% or $ 1,500 cash back on certian models treats a bit in July.)
I think that Chrysler have suspended their program of matching funds.
