Bmw M3 Owners ClubARM: Paul Denby Champion 2009/2010 WATER GTB Total

How does it feel to be champion?
Paul:
It's a great feeling to have won the GTB, both for myself and the team, the team is a reward for all the efforts put in previous seasons to develop the car until to a point where he was able to challenge for top positions. On a personal level, it is extremely satisfying to have ridden in such good company and have come out on top in my first season I am proud of my accomplishments

Describe your season of the series 1 to the finals ...
Paul:
The first round was very much a case of not knowing what to expect, the start was OK, I was too timid in the first corner, obviously anxious not to bend the car from the first corner, the first race cars gta disappeared into the distance followed closely by the leaders of GTB and I was able to drive a strong race, unreliability put paid to dreams of some cars GTB quickly past me, leaving me to finish race in third position with which I was delighted, although there was a great feeling that I had inherited the third position of others who had mechanical failure, rather than going out there and well deserved.

For the second race on the international circuit, I was sharing the car with team owner John Sinders and was in second position, the change of grave is not as though he could have done, Perhaps we should have done little more! The race itself was fairly quiet for me, I guess you could say it was like the first race a gentle introduction to the competition, the race I did was real two final laps.

Is what I was catching Drew in the BMW M3 to a very good pace, but with the last lap board out and another 2-3 seconds to catch it would be tight, so I do not know if it was really Opposite me in the race or I break all the lines I was on the radio asking the team, but no response, then coming into turn 12 on the last lap I was on Will rear bumper Alex arrives and will be confirmed was in third countries, if I could pass, I'd be on the podium. I dived inside him in the bowl, but do not want any contact (and far too polite) I left plenty of room in the last two corners and we found ourselves side by side in turn 16, with Will management have the nose in front on the line.

This bothered me after the race, not because I had been defeated in the third, but because I knew I was past 15 and in turn should have 16 on a narrow line, leaving him no space back to me, I have no illusions that I gave the position away by being too cautious and too polite a mistake I vowed not to repeat. Two strong points finishes meant that I led GTB, but he felt as a leader by chance, not like I really did something special in my driving position to win at this point.

The third tranche was a turning point for both the season and my driver's license in the first two races of Harris in the 996 GT3 in the Ginetta Martin seemed to be in a different league from me, they were much more fast on the club and international circuits, I could not imagine being able to follow even for a ride, let alone a whole race. However, three rounds has been on the national circuit and is the configuration of my favorite track of all the songs I've driven, it offers a series of curves and slopes that the precision of reward and punish mercilessly time around the more exuberant or chilly.

Before the day of practice the guys ARMotors is an important development a few changes on the car and practice, I discovered that they had set up the perfect car, I was myself for this series that John was on a business trip had plenty of time to practice and Thursda.
