Bmw K1100ltIs a motorcycle shop I use my bike snatching? This is a BMW motorcycle K1100LT?

I have a BMW motorcycle K1100LT. The exhaust gases must be changed and the bike shop took off and exuast 8 bolts where the fate of exuast side of the engine broke. The shop said they would have to be drilled. Next thing they said they had to take the top half of the engine off to get to them. Did they have to do this or are they ripping me or just do not know what they are doing?

I have no experience with this bike, but I had a similar experience with a turbocharged engine, exhaust bolts to the turbo and is held by three screws, when I had the downpipe changed They snatched one of the bolts and I had to get the turbo taken off the heel of drilling bolt. I cursed the place it was, but it happened, the next time as well, which seems a bit odd is that all eight bolts on your bike broke. Why did you choose this shop first, and what is there as the reputation, I will try and argue that they should bear part of the cost to repair, probably by the upper half of the engine they mean head? which means the replacement of the seal, so not cheap.

They probably took off for the extra work time and money from you, I do not know the clearance issues, but they could have had with it still on the bike.

BMW is not an easy task ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,- sure they know how to do it so they ,,,,,,,,,,

I have 103 bikes in my life I've also bicycle repair bicycles, I've never encountered an incident like this, everyone can shear one setting but OK to continue and shear eight is incredible! there are procedures to remove amounts seized / bolts etc. This person has not responded for some reason? If it were me I expect the dealer to perform repairs at its expense if it is not ready or too incompetent I doubt seek legal advice, it should not cost anything just to get advice

they are eligible for the bill by the simple second-rate work or trying to scam you. they broke the bolts they pay for the repairs. bolts are attached to a torque setting, its unlikley they were rusted on or too tight or tighten. I would tell them to stop, they do not seem credible as a garage. brought the bike to a BMW motorcycle specialist. its you thats going to bike is not them. and report them and get legal advice.

Unless you have an accident with the bike, or is damaged, it is not possible that all eight of these bolts have snapped off, unless of course the dealer broke them. Before they do anythign else, ask to speak to service manager. If it gives you a hard time, tell him you're going complain to the company, and your next bike will be a Honda (which was my opinion anyway).

Sounds like they had some flunkies "to work on your bike or the mechanic was in a hurry and decided to remove them with a weapon impact.

But something smells fishy. I do not know what kind of store you're dealing with, but back to my days as a mechanic if we stripped a bolt, while a standard repair, we had to fix our own money. The client had already been quoted a price for repair. additional work and parts, because something went wrong during the repair of origin could not be loaded. Unfortunately not all the stores there follows these rules.

Break-5, the customer call. Tell him what is happening. Tell him that you can try soaking the bolts with penetrating oil. Tell him what the cost of the repairs so far and how much it will cost if the R.
