Is it true that BMW will release a hybrid in 2013, which gets 270 miles per gallon? Is the future of high mileage cars? No more hydrogen or solar. What is the cost of the hybrid BMW?
You're probably thinking of the VW L1. Who should get 280 mpg or real terms may be 180 mpg. All these figures are only dreamers like days. The concept cars can get those uber high mileage. But in real life, these cars must meet very high standards to be considered a production car. Cars must be heavier to make it safer and environmentally friendly. Honestly, I think these cars get 50 + mpg average at best. Besides, it will be even cheaper to get a regular gasoline powered car less than 10K. We have the technology to get 100 + mpg, but the car would not make any profit automakers.
hope, because it will sell well, and people need cars like that with gas prices rising.
No
Do you mean the one with Hyper drive and vision to see-through?
270 is a giant step in the steps should marker 100 MPG.
Yes, it works on dreams.
