Monday, January 25, 2010 BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept BMW reveals a new concept car BMW Vision. The new idea is a plug-in hybrid with an engine three-cylinder turbo-diesel. Designed with the idea of merging the performance of an M3 with exceptionally low fuel consumption. BMW provides 0-62 mph time of 4.8 seconds while scoring 62.6 mpg (U.S.) on combined cycle and emits the EU a Prius type 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer. BMW uses small bottle for its new BMW concept car vision and use these technologies in all small cylinder hybrid concept car and come. Vision uses 1.5 liters BMW turbo diesel which is essentially half the 3.0 liter engine used in the 335d and the engine is mated to a six-speed DCT. The dynamics is effectively a 2 +2 four-door hybrid that combines the performance of the M Series with enhanced fuel efficiency and lower emissions. BMW Vision System includes GPS navigation. Sport lithium-polymer battery cells 98. It provides 8.6 kilowatts-hours to drive the car, and BMW says the agreement sets of cells has gross storage capacity of 10.8 kilowatt-hours. The pack weighs 187 pounds and BMW said it did not need an active cooling system. BMW says the battery is recharged in 2.5 hours at 220 volts. Until now, the vision is just one concept. However, BMW has made it clear he plans to make sustainability the cornerstone of its range, so we're sure to see some of the technology in road cars before long.
