Are BMW 330ci good cars? Well yes, I am looking for a first car. My choices are either a Jeep Wrangler or a BMW 330ci. Im leaning towards the 330ci. There is a sale for 10,080, is it worth it? My dad says its not worth more than 9000. the car has 83.000 miles on it too. So, any info would help!
The BMW is a very good car, everything depends on the use ... IC is a 2-door coupe, RWD and has a 3.3L I-6. very reliable cars but they are expensive to repair and replace parts on. If you need 4WD and / or ground clearance of the Jeep would be better, but if you do not go with the BMW. They also make an AWD model, the 330xi. Without knowing the year, I can not say if 10,000 is a good price.
Your question does not indicate the vehicle year, details of equipment, or if it is a coupe or convertible 2-door hardtop. If it happens to be a 2001 330ci coupe with 2D standard equipment on the net selling price at retail is $ 11,325. There is an add on of $ 1.775 for the mileage to 83,000 for a total retail of $ 13.100 own. Since the 330ci has not been produced earlier than 2001, I am assuming it is a 2001. All 3 Series models corner, accelerate and stop quickly. They are very sophisticated machines. They put the driver in contact with the road instead of isolating them. On a scale of 1-5 stars, five stars are classified on acceleration, braking, ride quality, interior comfort, fuel economy, reliability and overall satisfaction .....
BMWs are great cars, but 1) it will be more expensive to insure, at your age and 2) to 83,000 miles, you will have some repairs, they are more expensive than domestic vehicles. I'd say its worth it to drive one, but you need to know what its going to cost you in the long term.
Single:
1.) Bring the car to an independent mechanic for him or her to have a look at the vehicle. They will tell you whether or not the car is worth its asking price (although some are reluctant to establish specific numbers). Otherwise, they will tell you that requires immediate attention or in the near future.
2.) BMW have two major inspection, they are (correctly) the name of inspection I and II inspection. A car with 83.000 miles must have completed both. In other words, there is nothing but regular maintenance and replacement of worn components that should apply to your car.
3.) I had several BMWs, and they are all fantastic (if it is a subjective opinion). I strongly recommend you consider an extended warranty for your vehicle if possible.
4.) Jeep Wrangler or 330Ci, eh? very different cars, and I doubt anyone here can give you a 'right' answer for what you should get. It's like asking people what is better between the strawberry ice cream and chocolate ice cream - there is no definitive answer. The BMW spin circles around the jeep in terms of handling and sportiness, but the Wrangler will destroy the BMW in other areas, such as off-road.
Good luck my friend.
