Basslines Pickups

I have a Squier bass regularly (p) and I was wondering if I put microphones bass lines and new channels on it would be much better sound?

new channels wouldn hurt or be much of an investment dollar wise.

But putting the pick-up a squire would not make much sense. I do not know how these mics run, but if more than one hundred (installed) I save my money for better bass.

You can read Equilizer Boss Bass. I use one to boost my P-bass and always keep it in my platform even if I use low to higher microphones know. It will run you about $ 100 (or find a used one!). You still continued to use after and bought a better bass on the line.

You might be better to buy a new bass or EQ pedal to get.
A good preamp would not, but then you might as well get another bass.
