Saab Aero X: Concept of the Year Autocar, the oldest surviving car magazine, has finally announced the Autocar Award winners. The winners, according to the company "to celebrate the greatest achievements of the last 12 months and those who made them happen." Highlights of the event included the announcement of winners. Among the winners, Saab Aero X, which received as a concept of the year.
Saab Aero-X concept was unveiled at the Salon International de l'Auto. It uses a powerful Saab performance parts , which include the 2.8L V6 twin-turbo run on pure ethanol. The BioPower engine is fueled by ethanol, a source of fossil energy bar carbon dioxide emissions. This engine is capable of producing 400 horsepower, it also has 7-speed automatic transmission controlled by paddles on the steering wheel.
According to the manufacturer, Saab Aero-X "harnesses the power of Saab aircraft and Scandinavian roots to make a unique statement in performance car design." In addition, the car manufacturer receives signals and shows off its modern design that integrates its roots fighter. "This study shows how the strength of the Saab brand heritage can inspire bold, innovative design," said Bryan Nesbitt, Executive Director of Design for GM Europe in relation to the concept car. "As we move forward with new Saab products, we remain focused on carefully cultivating this brand equity in the context of Scandinavian design values."
Saab Aero-X offers its gullwing doors, glass roof, the electronically controlled suspension, reasonable storage, exterior lighting and interior using LEDs, and environmental characteristics.

Our designers, engineers and marketers in Sweden are ideally placed to nurture and communicate the unique DNA of the Saab brand. Their work will ensure that future product proposals express core qualities, such as progressive design, sporty performance and emotional functionality, in a manner that is specific to Saab.
Other prize winners are Coach Ford S-Max, Audi and Fiat Punto. Ford S-Max appeared as the car of the year, Audi Car Company of the year, and Fiat Punto that the design of the Year.
