I have a 2007 BMW 335i and I was just wondering what is an easy upgrade for better power and torque?

How do you spend? there are some updates that would give you an easy day-night difference in the list.

* Quebec:

Spark plugs
Cold air intake (which can give you around 6 hp or a little more)

* Not so cheap but also not to exaggerate

Headers (which can give you about 10HP or more increase)
ECU / Chip (which is much, around 17hp increase)
Broadband cats and exhaust system (which becomes more expensive)

If you care about my personal opinion, I would say the 'Get a reprogrammed ECU, a system of cold air intake (CAI) and you will feel the difference. Remember one thing that takes you to the next updates of high performance can be costly for this car, I would go with only those things yet, as CAI, ECU and headers, you feel the change, you will RCAR different and you will be able to ask you if you want more or not, thats where deep pockets are needed.

You can do sooo many things to your engine for more power and torque ...

The most effective are:
Compressor
Turbocharger
On cold air intake
New exhaust
New exhaust headers
Performance spark
Etc.
You can increase the size of many different things in the engine ... Most parts will fit any more air into the cylinders which adds horsepower and torque
But if you get too many upgrades to increase the flow of air then you should change your air / fuel mixture.

If you simply want to accelerate your car feel faster .. Get high-performance tires ...
This makes the acceleration feel faster even if it is not really
The tires just grip the road better and it gives the impression that the car pulls harder =)

Other than the K & N cold air intake system and a free flow exhaust will also help.

Header (s), full exhaust including cat HI flow, or no cat. chip performance, http://www.voloperformance.com

Royal Purple 5W30, Wix oil filter, Denso Iridium Power Spark Plugs, Good gas.

An air filter K & N will make a difference and they are not expensive at all.
