2005 WrxHow good are 2005 WRX and WRX STI?

I want a WRX or WRX STI 2005, but my brother says it's not a good car because the JD powers gave him a bad rating can you show me or tell me why this is a good idea to get this car.

I do not rely on ratings from JD Power, I read the comments of customers. In my opinion, I think the WRX is a car very well!

Choose the ..... sti is like a ball on four wheels!

I found JD Powers to be seriously lagging behind not only personal experience, but also from all other investigations of reliability that I met. Reliability investigations of the United Kingdom, AutoMarxx ADAC in Germany, the Automobile Association of New Zealand as well as Consumer Reports (I've found is fairly accurate) all updates to Subaru or near the top of the list in terms of reliability. Everyone I know who owns a Subaru speaks volumes about the reliability of the brand.

In short, an Impreza 2005 should be a very solid and reliable car. However, I would be careful about buying one used if it focused hard.

theyre awesome cars. They drive well, theyre fast, and handle very well. Not to mention theyre also very handy.

The STi is a better car. Not only is it faster / handles better / whatever, but it also has a better engine (2.5L turbo vs 2L), and a transsexual more sustainable. The transsexual s 2.0L 'tended to be rather low, but the STI fixed most of these problems.

That being said, do not buy a change. If its been changed, chances are its been ragged on hard. Many young boys runner to buy them and just beat the camp of them (including me, but im relatively mild)

I know that STIs are great cars, my friend decided to make one and he told me repeately all about it. They are supposed to be very reliable too.

Forget JD Power and Associates. They are rec companies who take money from GM anyway. Look at the cars they usually like GM.
If you want an impartial comparison of car, look at Consumer Reports, whose conclusions are based on internal testing unbiased (ie, "impartial" is a funny word. They seem to hate the drive trucks through, for example) and from the reaction of consumers. This means that people who own cars referral or lease their vehicles.
Both cars are excellent Subie. I've never known a Subie owner to hate their car. I used to drive a Ford, GM trucks loved, and then I had a WRX and have never looked back except to laugh at the other American car in my rearview mirror.
My car is two years old, smokes Porsche, towing a trailer, and plow through the snow without any problem. Oh, and I put a full development, 200 lb. St. Bernard in the back (it's a wagon) with no problems (he liked better than my truck because there is more room). Add to this that I get oil changes at low prices (not much lubrication with AWD, unlike 4-wheel drive until you hit 30k miles) and about 30 mpg on the highway.
Forget JD Power. They know nothing at all. Drive one yourself and you'll love it / them.

go to IST and to forget his JD Powers a great car.

The problem with ratings from JD Power is how they can be unfair on their votes. They have not really distinguish between a body panel and a panel of knock the rust that develops. Both are in the same category, but it is a very small problem, and the other is not.

Ultimately. Get the Subaru.

In 2004, STI was named Car of the Year by a large company, even if I do not know exactly who. They have not changed much, so I think they are good cars. The STI has a lot of performance for the money. They also IT, which makes their handling more superior.

In 2005, Subaru WRX STI and the same car as the 2004 so if you want to go to one more year. Regarding the car goes, the TSI is anything but a bad car. Some basic features are a 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder boxer (i.
