BMW 330i 2001 or perhaps its fairly generic question for any owner of the car to respond? So, my water pump broke in my 2001 BMW 330i last night. Coolant everywhere. motor sounds crazy. Cannot drive the thing longer than a couple of miles, or it may overheat to death. The next question is, exactly what I need to buy to solve this problem? Is it fairly common or what?
not really poured on the 330 ... all depends on how the pump is driven ... std just a belt?, and water pumps are connected somtimes [] driven belt Timmings, which means DONT even start the engine if it fails. .. somtimrees there under a large fan in the center of the engine ... there are lots of things to change .... some of the calls require a BMW mad tequnecs bleading .. some must be raised from the ground directly before using bleading outside air into the water pipes.
change a water pump in a BMW is quite difficult to do because three, no place to work you need to change it but I would suggest that your mechanic Especially because of this issue. not cheap
